Parrot Heads of Puget Sound Northwest Latitudes, Laid Back Attitudes
Party With A Purpose Along The Shores Of Puget Sound Looking for that One Particular Harbour? Just Wastin’ Away Again?

Don’t know where you’ll go when the Volcano Blows? If these song lines are your lifestyle or you just wish they were, then the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound is the club for you! Everyone is welcome to join the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound! All it takes is an adventurous spirit, a love of Jimmy Buffett and his music, and a desire to do a little extra for your Fellow Man and the Community. Parrot Heads love to party. We may be NW Latitudes, Laid Back Attitudes but don’t let that fool you! We embrace our national organization’s motto Party with a purpose! Our membership encompasses the entire Western Washington/Puget Sound area, and the diversity of our group brings a variety of events in which we are involved. We offer our services to the community and donate to charitable organizations that are focused on making a better life for those around them. We’ve painted houses, planted trees, pulled weeds, walked 60 miles in 3 days, worked brew festivals… and that just scratches the surface. Did we mention that we like to party and have a good time? We frequently bring bands to our area from all over the US play parties and allow our phlock to take a mental vacation. Feel free to attend an event and join in the spirit and fun with the Parrot Heads of Puget Sound. We hope to see you soon! Check out our main web site events calendar for upcoming phun! The Parrot Heads of Puget Sound is an IRS 501(c)3 charitable organization.

Sad news from the music world…

Global icon and humanitarian, Dolly Parton, known to the world as a beloved singer, songwriter, philanthropist, actress, playwright, and author died peacefully today in Nashville, Tennessee. She was 80 years old.

Dolly is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years Carl Thomas Dean (1942 – 2025), her mother Avie Lee Caroline Owens (1923 – 2003), and father, Robert Lee Parton, Sr. (1921 – 2000).

A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family. Dolly Parton’s legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience. With a seven-decade career, she inspired multiple generations of artists and fans with her music and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. Her songs will continue to resonate with people of all ages, and her philanthropic work will have a lasting impact.

At Dolly’s request, a small, private service will be held for immediate family. Dolly’s fans and friends from around the world are encouraged to pay tribute to Dolly on social media by tagging or by leaving a message at www.dollyparton.com

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library at www.imaginationlibrary.com

Disaster Assistance for Parrot Heads

Good Morning Parrot Heads …

I am sure you are well aware that the State of Washington is currently experiencing catastrophic wildfires. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have been affected and the thousands of firefighters battling these fires around the clock.

Yesterday I received a message from the President of the Lone Palm Foundation, reaching out to make sure our club members know that if any of you suffer property damage due to wildfires, you are eligible to apply for assistance from the Lone Palm Foundation. For those of you new to the club, the Lone Palm Foundation is the charitable arm of Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHIP), our national governing body.

If you need assistance, you can reach out directly to www.lonepalmfoundation.org .

~ PHoPS President

Angels in Tropical Shirts The Lone Palm Foundation is the charitable arm of Parrot Heads in Paradise (PHIP), Inc. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization designed to further the commitment of Parrot Heads worldwide and support the social and environmental needs and concerns within their communities...
