The stories coming out of the Philippines are unimaginable. Rushing water and wind tearing children away from their parents' arms. A death toll that's over one thousand and will likely rise. A city of 200,000 in which no buildings appear to have survived intact.

We have another NGO partner for our mission to Haiti. Can't wait to meet and see the work they do. Check them out in advance at www.apparentproject.org We will be hosting a fundraiser for them in Seattle before our trip in December. Look for your invitation coming soon.

The Apparent Project is a 501(c)3 NonProfit artisan guild empowering and employing Haitian parents whose poverty puts them at risk of relinquishing their children to orphanages, endentured servitude, or the streets.
