Zunta Foundation

Zunta Foundation Our purpose is to to prevent the genocide of the Rohingya people of Myanmar and assist refugees by providing access to food, clean water and shelter.

Our vision is to stop the Rohingya genocide and create a better life for them by implementing a scalable multipronged strategy. The first objective of which, will be creating a massive social media campaign and robust college ambassador program. These operations will serve to raise awareness about this issue amongst western communities, political circles, and youth across the United States. This i

s important as the public is largely unaware of the systematic ethnic cleansing operations and violations of basic human rights, all of which point to the inevitability of unrestrained genocide at the hands of Myanmar’s government and Rakhine nationalists. Building awareness around this issue will allow Zunta Foundation to more effectively implement the other aspects of our approach to provide the Rohingya people with a reasonable standard of living. This will be done in part by facilitating large scale food drives and aggressive fundraising strategies which will focus on providing food, water, shelter, and economic opportunity for refugees. After these primary objectives are sufficiently funded, Zunta will seek to employ effective lobbying tactics in western governments with the goal of obtaining legislation that will assist the Rohingya people. This will take the form of imposing sanctions on Myanmar’s government if their participation in, and complacency towards this genocide continues. Their situation is dire as the Rohingya people are on the verge of mass annihilation. With your help we can prevent a horrible tragedy and create a better future for these people.
