We’re thrilled to share the highlights from our Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) 2025 Summer Workshop, where middle schoolers from Mount Vernon dove into the wonders of STEM—from building robots to exploring fossils, evolution, environmental science, and even Mars! 🚀🦖🔬🌱

We’re excited to announce the 2025 Youth Empowerment Program (YEP) presented by the Roberto Carcelén Foundation!

This year, students will dive into an unforgettable summer experience:

Explore fossils, dinosaurs, and evolution with the Burke Museum
Build and program robots
Express creativity through an art project
Make a difference with a community service project
Lunch included every day

Who: Middle schoolers (Grades 6–8)
When: August 21–26 (excluding Sunday, August 24), 10 AM–1 PM
Where: Kulshan Creek Neighborhood Station, 2520 Kulshan Avenue, Mount Vernon, WA 98273
