We've got lots of events lined up for you for this year's Taiwanese American Heritage Week!

The Taiwan Impression (台灣印象) Dance Show, performed by the Culture Arts Performing Team from National Taiwan University of Physical Education and Sports, will use many folk dances to convey the dynamic and rich culture of Taiwan.

This special event will take place at on Tuesday, May 13th from 7pm – 9pm at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue!

2013年大西雅圖「台美人傳統文化週」系列慶祝活動，將於5月5日起隆重揭幕。今年一系列活動，由大西雅圖台美人傳統週籌備會、台灣同鄉會、台灣婦女會、華大台灣學生會(TSA)等社團共同主辦。籌備會於14日邀請社團代表及僑領在僑教中心召開說明會，為一系列活動宣傳，歡迎各界踴躍參加。 說明會中指出，今年「台美人傳統文化週」共有以下四項主要的慶祝活動： 一、「舞躍臺灣(Dances Over Taiwan」：由台北民族舞團表演，該團成立25年來，足跡遍及40幾國，演出逾700場，並屢獲國際舞蹈大獎，該團以獨特的臺灣本土風格舞作，為臺灣民族舞蹈開拓嶄新風貌，並在國際傳揚臺灣的舞蹈之美。 紐約時報、丹...

為介紹即將展開的數個精采節目，今年(2013年)台美人傳統文化週籌備會於這週日(4月14日)召開一個說明會，約有30位社區領袖踴躍參加。大西雅圖台灣同鄉會、西雅圖台灣婦女會、華大台灣同學會、台灣人公共事務會華州分會、台大校友會、西雅圖榮光會、貝爾斯台灣商會、蘇浙同鄉會、美國公民護台聯盟等均派代表出席，僑務委員陳美君、邱美瑞、僑務顧問趙希文、李雄飛、經文處金星處長、僑教中心薛台君主任等也都蒞臨參與。
