We saw lots of big smiles from conference attendees today—day one of their Seattle event! Thank you to the teams who shared their time in the middle of their week to support K-12 educators and tech professionals from across the country.

Tomorrow, a few more pet therapy teams will volunteer and bring joy to conference participants.

PowerSchool is a cloud-based K-12 platform, which helps small to large schools and district organizations conduct assessments, collect student data, digitize survey forms, recruit teachers, and track student progress. PowerSchool’s solutions help increase student support, accelerate learning, and encourage whole-child instruction to support teachers in better outcomes for student success.

Tonight at 7pm, join us for “The Healing Power of Animals by Kathleen Laughlin, Pet Partners Evaluator and Instructor. You will hear the “why” behind the what we do as volunteers.

The Healing Power of Animals: This mini-workshop covers major findings that have come from studies on therapy animal visitations including scholarly references, as well as some of the ways in which Pet Partners supports more investigation into the power of therapy animals.
