The Kiwanis Club of South Seattle, formerly "Kiwanis Club of Industrial Seattle" has been serving the South-End community since 1953. We serve youth, including an outstanding Key Club at Cleveland High School, and we also have a close relationship with the Salvation Army. Members of this club have generally worked and owned businesses in the industrial area south of downtown, now known as “SoDo”,

and have lived in many different neighborhoods. Consequently, our club has always held a breakfast or lunchtime meeting so that members can focus on family in the evenings. Our service projects are diverse, including str**t cleanups, park renewal, ringing bells for the Salvation Army donations during the winter holidays, distributing turkeys at Thanksgiving time, and providing diapers for indigent daycare families.
