The Beacon Hill Council of Seattle (BHCS) provides opportunities for people who live, work, study and/or visit Beacon Hill to participate in community improvement and activities. We provide an open and effective forum for citizen initiation, review, and recommendations to the Seattle City Council and other agencies on matters as they relate to the people of the Beacon Hill community.

In Wonder in Nature, middle school students will practice the skills and techniques that go into nature photography. This 4-day camp will include fun and educational activities like DSLR camera courses and guided walks in nature where they can hone their photography skills. Students will have the opportunity to create a printed photography magazine of their work. DSLR cameras and outdoor gear will be provided for use during the program. Registration closes February 2, 2026.
