Lyrics Matter on Skool is actively running programming in Seattle and Los Angeles—and we’re expanding soon to Baltimore.
This is a movement built at the intersection of music, education, and healing. Our curriculum is already licensed and accredited across two states, and as we scale nationally, we’re proving that creative education can be both culturally rooted and institutionally respected.
What makes this different is the connection. When seasoned creators step into teaching, it shifts everything. Artists aren’t just instructors—they become living proof. They translate real experience into structure, guidance, and opportunity for young people who are navigating the same environments, pressures, and dreams they once faced.
That relationship between a creator and a youth isn’t just educational—it’s transformational. It builds trust, identity, discipline, and a sense of possibility that traditional systems often miss.
At the same time, we’re building pathways for the artists themselves. Through our trauma-informed framework, we’re giving creators a lifeline into education, leadership, and ownership—empowering them to launch their own mobile music schools and community-based programs using a proven model.
This is not just about impact in the classroom. It’s about building a national ecosystem where artists teach, youth lead, and communities heal through music.
