Auburn Family in the Puget Sound and those who visit here,
We hope this message finds you well and proud to be part of the Auburn community here in Seattle. We are writing because, over the past couple of seasons, we’ve seen attendance at our events dip or have little to no response — and while the wins haven’t always come our way, the spirit that makes Auburn special has never depended on the scoreboard.
Our club strives to be about more than the final score. But with lack of RSVP's or attendance, the leaders have not been driven to continue to host for little to no attendance. And bars are less willing to open early for our games, or to reserve us tables.
It’s about connection. It’s about gathering with people who know the fight song by heart, who can name their favorite Toomer’s Corner memory, who feel that familiar spark when they see orange and blue. Even in tough seasons (which we have seen a few) -those moments matter. They remind us why Auburn is family.
We want to host meaningful gatherings- not just football watch parties, and we want to encourage every alum, fan, and friend to show up — not just for the team, but for each other. When we fill a room with Auburn energy, we create the kind of atmosphere that keeps traditions alive and strengthens our community here in the Pacific Northwest. Your presence makes a difference. Your voice makes a difference. And your support helps us build something lasting.
We are also here to field your questions and listen to your feedback, to better improve our events experience. Whether the Tigers are on a hot streak or fighting through adversity, let’s commit to showing up with pride, passion, and the same unwavering spirit that defines Auburn men and women everywhere.
If we can get enough commitments to attend, we will host football watch parties again- along with other fun events like group Seattle sports outings, trivia, bingo, beach days and more! We hope to see you at future watch parties, cheering loud, connecting with fellow alumni, and keeping the Auburn spirit strong in Seattle.
War Eagle,
Jonathan & Frederic
