Every year on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attacks, a group of World War II veterans come together at the Washington Athletic Club. It's a tradition that started in 1947 and came to be known as the Last Man's Club.

The University of Washington will host a special Veterans Day event on November 11th. The UW will present the first Distinguished Alumni Veteran Award. The event begins at 11 am with a reception to follow in Kane Hall. You may contact Ann Fillingham for more information. (annmckcuw@edu)
