Albinos in Africa are considered magical, and their body parts are often amputated and sold for thousands of dollars to be used in potions or as good luck. The Shriners hospital in Philadelphia spent the better part of this summer fitting five such victims with prosthetic limbs. This is why we work.

At our last meeting we decided to make and sell custom Jamberry wraps as a fundraiser for the foundation. We need your help designing them! We'd like to keep them in a Daughters theme -- green and white geometric designs, white roses, emblems from the crescent, etc. Please go to the link below, and try your hand at designing! The site is really easy to use, and you can upload photos (flowers or our emblem?) to make things super custom. We'd like to have these ready to sell in time for Supreme in June. Ladies! We tried to go to Stitch 'n' Pitch last year, but it didn't work out, so let's make it happen this year. It's happening Tuesday, July 28th; tickets are $15 and we'll be in a section full of other stitchers. And you don't need to have a project to attend -- just get ready to enjoy a game with friends.
