At We Move to Give, we believe our free and safe spaces are built on something simple:

Tonight, I’m still speechless.

Tonight we told everyone, with pride, that they matter here in our free and safe spaces.

Growing up, I didn’t always feel like I belonged. So ending the night with Izzy on the Eyes “You Matter Here” in a city that is healing was more than just another song it was a reminder that community can help us heal.

Throughout the evening, people came up to me to share their stories. They trusted us with pieces of their lives, and I left feeling humbled, grateful, and honestly overwhelmed with joy.

To every volunteer, instructor, partner, and every person who danced with us tonight: thank you for making this movement a reality.

And to anyone reading this…

Never forget:

You matter here.

Your story matters.

You matter just the way you are.

The world is better because you are in it.

Now it’s time for me to sort through the photos, relive the memories, and probably cry a few more tears of joy.
