Pride in the Park is coming up! GenPride and our partners Alzheimer's Association and , will be hosting the Legacy Lounge! Join us for shade, seating, and snacks! Pace will be doing blood pressure readings throughout the day. Zumba instruction at 1:00 PM and 2:00PM!

Witness the culmination of over twenty q***r oral history interviews, all focusing on Olympia LGBTQIA2S+ past, present, and future on June 7th at the Capitol Theater!

Window Seat Media and Capital City Pride have partnered up to produce the Pride Storytelling Project: a Community Roots initiative to document q***r history throughout Thurston County. Members of the 2024-2026 q***r cohort will present their various projects produced from the oral history interviews recorded in 2024 and 2025. Audiences can expect a curriculum presentation from local teacher Lucas Claussen, a panel discussion led by artist Jonah Barnett, interactive exhibits created by producer Wild Tiny, and elder storytelling & original solo piano compositions by Azadi Amaan.
