Skate Like a Girl empowers individuals, especially young womxn, to become strong, confident leaders who promote and implement equity through the vehicle of skateboarding. Established in Olympia, WA in 2000 as an unincorporated association, Skate Like a Girl is a volunteer driven organization founded by Holly Sheehan and Fleur Larsen. In 2005, Skate Like a Girl relocated to Seattle and, in May 2007

, became an officially recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation in Washington state. Skate Like a Girl strives to build community coalitions with other groups and organizations that are working to challenge oppression through education and dialogue, with the hope of creating better communities for everyone.

Skate camp report! 💯👏❤️‍🔥🛹 We’ve been having a blast at all four locations! Week 3 starts today🙂‍↕️🥳

This is an exclusive space for ages 18+ participants who identify as women &/or trans, non-binary, or gender expansive individuals🫶

Regular WT sessions for ages 5-100+ will continue every Monday & Thursday except the first Monday.🛹
