Seattle area Citizen's Climate Lobby (CCL) Welcome to Seattle CCL! Join us to fight climate change through advocacy, collaboration, & education. Don’t worry about having a limited schedule!

We focus on developing relationships with congressional representatives and the local media through letters, phone calls, and meetings. Group members convene once a month for a national conference call, write letters to the editor, and help make monthly calls to our elected representatives among other actions. We welcome you to commit as much or as little time as you have. Our meetings are on the

second Saturday of each month, and all are welcome. MEETINGS ARE VIRTUAL DUE TO COVID19. EMAIL [email protected] TO JOIN. You can also email Anne Engstrom [email protected] for additional info. Structure of meetings:
10-11am Conference call with all of the other Citizens Climate Lobby groups across the nation and with an expert in the climate or legislative field. Information on the specific speaker for a given meeting is posted about one week before the meeting at citizensclimatelobby.org and an mp3 audiofile of the conference call is posted after the meeting at that same address.

11- 12noon: Seattle CCL specific planning for legislative action and discussion of climate change issues.
