🌳 Meet the author behind Street Trees of Seattle! 🌳

Join us Saturday, October 10 from 11 AM to 12 PM for a book signing with Taha Ebrahimi, author and illustrator of Street Trees of Seattle: An Illustrated Walking Guide.

Her beautifully illustrated book is a love letter to the trees lining our city's streets, blending botany, history, and neighborhood charm. Taha has even been named "Seattle's Coolest Street Tree Expert" by The Stranger, so you'll want to bring your questions 🌲

Stop by to say hello, pick up a signed copy, and chat about the trees that shape our neighborhoods. It's a perfect kickoff to your next walk around the block! 💚🍂

This event is part of our Tree Planting Month celebration all October long! 🍂

REMINDER: West Seattle Nursery is closed on Wed, Sep 30 for inventory. We will be open for regular business hours on Thurs, Oct 1.

Meet Toby! He's been teaching our milling class for 4 months now, and he's awesome at it. By day he runs his own construction company, but he still makes time for WSTL because he believes in community support and loves helping people get comfortable using tools.

Outside the shop, you'll find him coaching Little League Baseball, hanging out with his pets, and off fishing somewhere.

Thanks, Toby, for sharing your time and skills with our community!

It's the first day of fall! 🍁🍂 That means gorgeous shades of red, orange, and yellow are just around the corner. 👀

Save this guide to fall foliage when you are out leaf peeping, or even better, plant a tree so you can enjoy vibrant autumn colors for years to come. 🌳
