Congratulations to our LITs!

This year's leader in training trip was filled with long days on the trail, meaningful conversations, new skills, and countless moments of growth. Throughout the week, these aspiring leaders embraced every challenge with determination, supported one another through every mile, and showed us what it means to lead with compassion and confidence.

We are incredibly proud of the dedication, resilience. and heart this group brought to this experience. Thank you for showing up for yourselves, each other, and your community. The future of BOLD & GOLD is brighter because of leaders like you.

What an amazing training trip you had. We cannot wait to see how you mentor the young people of BOLD & GOLD on your other trips this summer!

Big appreciation post for all the little things.

A laugh while setting up camp. Helping a buddy with their pack. Celebrating a first summit, a new skill, or simply making it through a challenging day. These are moments that don't always make the highlight reel, but are the ones that remind us why we keep coming back to the outdoors.

At BOLD & GOLD, each adventure is made up of these little moments. Together, they create a truly unforgettable experience.

From the rugged peaks of the North Cascades to the old-growth forests of Olympic National Park, from the iconic slopes of Mount Rainier to the world-class climbing routes of Mount Erie, BOLD & GOLD expeditions take participants to some of Washington's wildest places.

However, these aren't just beautiful destinations, they're classrooms without walls. Every adventure holds opportunity for leadership development, meaningful community building, and memories that last long after the trail ends.

Where will BOLD & GOLD take you this summer?

This July 4th, we're celebrating a year of milestones.

As our nation marks 250 years, the YMCA of Greater Seattle is celebrating 150 years of serving communities across the Puget Sound region.

For generations, the Y has been a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can find connection, support, and opportunities to grow. Together, we've built stronger communities by showing up for one another and creating spaces where everyone belongs.

As you celebrate with family, friends, and neighbors this holiday weekend, we hope you find moments of joy, connection, and community.

Happy July 4th from all of us at the YMCA of Greater Seattle. ❤️🤍💙
