A huge thank you to everyone who has been attending the Seattle Latino Film Festival and making this edition a success! Our logistics and coordination have been running smoothly thanks to the dedication of our amazing team and volunteers.

The festival continues on Wednesday with an exciting lineup: a Mexican film screening at 10:00 AM at Crest Cinema Center in Shoreline, followed by Latin American fiction short films in competition and a beautiful Brazilian documentary featuring Indigenous themes, both at The Beacon Cinema.

And as the highlight of the day, join us at Richard Hugo House Auditorium starting at 6:00 PM for a free special evening event featuring Pulitzer and Emmy Award-winning writer Mirta Ojito and Emmy Award-winning TV producer Kerry Sanders.

Important Ticket Information 🎬

We know many of you have experienced difficulties accessing ticket sales this year. After Brown Paper Tickets closed, we had to transition to Events, and unfortunately, their service has not met the level of support and responsiveness that we expected, creating challenges for our nonprofit organization.

If you visit our website and tickets appear as “closed,” please don’t worry. You can come directly to The Beacon Cinema, and our team will be happy to assist you with your ticket purchase.

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program at the University of Washington, Panama Folklore, and 4Culture for making our Pre-Festival Screening of The Dance of the Kokorrit possible. This powerful docudrama, with its social focus and Indigenous themes, provided a meaningful celebration of culture, identity, and ancestral traditions. It was an excellent afternoon and a wonderful beginning to the 18th Annual Seattle Latino Film Festival, which officially opens tomorrow.
