Today’s Regional Women’s & Maternal Health Leadership Lunch Conversation brought together women leaders, advocates, healthcare voices, and community partners for a thoughtful discussion as part of 1978: The State of Maternal Health.

The conversation explored maternal health, alopecia areata, workplace equity, caregiving, mental health, leadership, and the systems that shape women’s experiences across Washington.

We’re grateful to Brittany Gregory, Jamie Elmore, Lisa Chin, Chanell Grismore, Zenovia Harris, and KD Hall for helping lead such an important and honest conversation.

Thank you as well to Pfizer and the Washington State Women’s Commission for supporting this work and helping create space for women’s voices to be heard.
We’ll be sharing more from the conversation, including video and key takeaways, soon.

Thank you to Good Day Seattle for highlighting the Juneteenth Freedom Festival and the powerful work of Africatown Community Land Trust.

Today, we gather to celebrate freedom, culture, legacy, and community in the heart of Seattle. We’re grateful to see this celebration uplifted and shared as one of the meaningful ways our city honors Juneteenth.

Join us as we celebrate history, community, and the continued work of building spaces where Black culture and legacy are seen, protected, and celebrated.
