Seafair Boat Club The Seafair Boat Club is a not-for-profit organization chartered to organize volunteers in support of the Seafair festival water-oriented activities.

* The Milk Carton Derby on Greenlake each July
* The Albert Lee Cup at Seafair held on Lake Washington each August
* The Special People's Holiday Cruise held on Lake Union eac

The Seafair Boat Club is a Seafair member family. Other member families include the Seafair Clowns, Seafair Pirates, Seafair Parade Marshals, and Seafair Commodores. Originally formed in 1975, the Seafair Boat Club membership included over 200 energetic and dedicated volunteers in our 30th year. We can always use more help! We are saddened to hear of the passing of long time SBC member Dan Stevens. His battle with cancer is over, and he is now pain free. Condolences to his family and all who knew him. He was a great man and worked many years on the carpentry team during race weekend.

H1 ANNOUNCES NEW RACE FORMAT FOR 2026
A new race format will be introduced at the Madison Regatta, marking an important evolution in how race weekends are structured and decided.

Rather than relying on draw-based positioning, the new format connects qualifying, preliminary heats, and the Final through one cumulative scoring system: Total Weekend Points, which determine:

• Heat section placement
• Lane selection order
• Advancement into the Final
