We are so excited to be honoring trailblazer Justice Mary Yu as one of our 2025 Shero’s!

This announcement makes it an even more perfect time to celebrate her long and incredible career-

Before joining the state's highest court, Mary Yu was a judge in King County Superior Court, where she performed Washington's first same-sex marriages.

Our eastside folks may be familiar with one of our 2025 Sheros - State Rep. Janice Zahn, from the 41st LD!

State Representative Janice Zahn represents the 41st legislative district (Mercer Island, Bellevue area) in Olympia, as well as working as the Chief Engineer for the Port of Seattle. Janice has worked with a lot of community organizations on issues including homelessness and food security, women’s homelessness, children’s health and well-being, and so much more.
