It all started in 1984 at the Lakeside School in Seattle, WA. Martha Beatty was the coach of the Junior's rowing team at the time. A group of Moms cornered Martha and said that they wanted to start a club for the "Moms" and they wanted Martha to coach it...This was the beginning of Martha's Moms. Since then, the "Moms" have led the path for other women's masters clubs across the country. A force t

o be reckoned with, the Moms compete at several major masters regattas throughout the U.S. More often than not, they bring home shiny medals and trophies as a testament to our commitment and dedication to the sport.
