King County Washington Women Lawyers

King County Washington Women Lawyers KCWWL seeks to further the full representation of women in the legal profession and develop their full leadership potential.

The King County chapter of Washington Women Lawyers (KCWWL) works to enhance the recognition and effectiveness of women lawyers and judges in the profession and community. King County Washington Women Lawyers (KCWWL) is the King County chapter of the statewide organization Washington Women Lawyers, which was founded in 1970, one hundred years after women first began to practice law in the United S

tates and almost one hundred years after the first woman judge in Washington and the first woman admitted to the Washington State Bar Association. KCWWL supports career development through leadership opportunities, mentor relationships, work to improve female attorney retention and work-life balance, and community service that impacts social justice and legal issues affecting women. We are a collegial, proactive, diverse and professional community that provides women the preferred and most trusted network in King County for legal practice and business development.
