Omid Roustaei, also known as , is an Iranian-American psychotherapist, culinary instructor, and cookbook author based in Seattle. Born and raised in Tehran, he draws inspiration from his heritage and the flavors of the Caspian Sea region, blending them with global and plant-based influences. His work is guided by a mission to foster connection and cultural understanding through food and storytelling. Omid has also been a longtime advocate of the Festival, supporting and championing it for many years.

Be sure to catch the live Cooking Demonstration taking place on Main Stage at 1pm and book signing at IACA Table at 130pm!
