Seattle Chapter of Amigos de las Américas Stay in touch with fellow AMIGOS from the Seattle area! We are current volunteers, alumni, future volunteers, board members, donors, friends and family.

We recruit, train, and fundraise for our local Seattle Chapter "summer program" volunteers of Amigos de las Américas. We believe young people have the power to change the world. Our programs for high school and college students create a unique opportunity for young people to take on real-world challenges and build responsibility. Program participants work with other US students and Latin American

peers to design and lead community projects related to areas such as: public health, children’s rights, and environmental sustainability.

Each year, the AMIGOS Seattle Chapter supports volunteers who don’t have access to a large fundraising network. With program costs now over $5,000, financial assistance makes all the difference. This year, thanks to our incredible community, we awarded a record $25,000 in scholarships and we’re committed to keeping that momentum going!
