🚨 Neighborhood Safety Training — October 6

The Montlake Community Club takes neighborhood safety seriously. That’s why we’re hosting an Emergency Hub training event to help our community prepare for emergencies.

Join us October 6 from 6–7:30 p.m. at the Montlake Community Center’s Tudor Building. MCC trustees will walk you through the basics of our newly established Emergency Hub, share best practices for responding during an emergency, and help you feel more prepared to support your neighbors when it matters most.

We hope you’ll join us!

Join us at Oxbow on Sunday, June 28, from 5–7 PM for a special evening benefiting Old Dog Haven, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing care, comfort, and loving homes for senior dogs in the Pacific Northwest who can be especially challenging to place.

We'll be serving complimentary food and drinks, hosting a silent auction featuring a variety of wonderful items and experiences, and—best of all—welcoming some charming senior dogs into the café for visitors to meet and spend time with.

At a moment when so many things feel uncertain, this is an opportunity to come together, make a meaningful difference, and have a genuinely enjoyable evening in the process.

Silent auction highlights include:

Gift cards to Cafe Lago and Oxbow Bakery
A bread-making class with local baking legend Ben Campbell of Ben’s Bread
A gift certificate for a whole cake from the amazing Deep Sea Sugar & Salt
Plus a selection of additional items beyond the baking world

Please RSVP to [email protected].
