Kevin McDonald from Kids In The Hall - One Line Premise Workshop!

➡️ Each student comes prepared with a one-line premise for a comedy sketch like "What if a guy was $10 short of being a millionaire?" Then Kevin and the class break down each premise.
➡️ Under Kevin's direction, they will explore how to write a single-line premise into a full sketch comedy scene.
➡️ A substantial feature of this workshop is personalized coaching notes from Kevin. After the class, participants return home and write a comedy sketch from their premise. ➡️ Once their sketch scene is completed, it is sent to Kevin, who will analyze and offer personalized notes through email for each student's scene.
❗️This workshop is a writing workshop and we will not be improvising or performing.

Cost: $130 ($135.78 including booking fees)
Prerequisite: None
Ages: 18 and above

Jordan Moeller | Sept. 11 @ 830pm

Jordan Moeller is a comedian, actor, and writer based out of Brooklyn, NY. He is a member of PIT Sketch Comedy House Team ‘The Ruse’, BoogieManja Sketch Comedy House Teams 'The Right Stuff' and  ‘Cherry Cherry’, cofounder of the dance-centric comedy groups Villains and Time Bath, as well as the multi-disciplinary HERON Ensemble and formidable DangerSwitch! clown troupe.  Jordan’s work is influenced by the best and worst parts of himself.

Jason has presented comedy in a potpourri of personally-named (mostly) and personally-unnamed (one) variations. One or more variations has performed at Seattle Sketchfest, San Francisco Sketchfest, Bumbershoot, the Pocket Theater and a bunch of people's houses. I now live in Minneapolis and am starting to do stuff here now.
