That’s a wrap on Young Frankenstein and our 10th season of Woodland Park Players. This season felt like everything we love about this community, all at once.

To every audience member who showed up, laughed with us, supported live theatre, and believed in what we’re building here… thank you. You make this possible.

Because of you, we funded 18 grants this year. Eighteen opportunities to keep the arts alive, accessible, and growing.

And to our volunteers, the heart of it all. The weekends, the late nights, the hands that built sets, ran shows, and made the magic happen… we couldn’t do this without you.

This community is something really special. And 10 years in, it still feels like we’re just getting started.

A little behind the scenes of bringing Young Frankenstein to life for Woodland Park Players ⚡️

For the past several Saturdays, volunteers have been hard at work building the set piece by piece. This weekend we officially loaded everything into the theater, and now our cast is stepping into the world of Transylvania.

It truly takes a village to make community theatre happen, and we’re so grateful to everyone who has helped bring this show to life.

Now the countdown begins… we open next week!

Giving Tuesday is here, and we’re reflecting on what makes Woodland Park Players special. We’re a neighborhood company powered by volunteers, and every show we produce sends its profits directly to arts programs for Seattle children and youth.

If our work has made you laugh, sing, or feel connected to this community, we’d be grateful for your support.

A donation equal to the price of a ticket helps keep theater, arts, dance and music accessible for the next generation. Head to the link in our bio!
