Jenifer Chao is a Mien immigrant from Southeast Asia with a lifelong commitment to advancing community health and equity. With a background in community-centered governance, she spent 10 years in the nonprofit sector focused on human services before serving in senior leadership roles within the City of Seattle for 17 years.

Currently, Jenifer is an Organizational Consultant for APICAT (Asian Pacific Islander Coalition Advocating Together for Health), where she supports efforts to advance health equity and strengthen community power. She believes healthy, thriving communities are built through coalition building, cultural resilience, and community-led change.
