Growing Vine Street We are a group of thinkers, solvers and creators who are coming together in an attempt to solve Seattle's storm water runoff problem. Join us!

Imagine 14 million pounds of storm water pollution as well as raw sewage being released into Puget Sound every year. Seattle, not expecting as much urbanization, built their city on sewer systems, with control overflows that when the storm water fills the sewer line and rises to the overflow line automatically releases the overflow water and waste to Elliott Bay. GVS is engaged in building a susta

inable, if not profitable system of using bio filtration to filter the water and release it into the bay, bypassing the sewer lines.
