🚧 Heads up: Our Puget Sound Fish habitat in Pier 60 will be closed October 19–23 for the first phase of work on some exciting new improvements! Over the next few months, we'll be installing upgraded lighting, signage, decor and more, all designed to improve accessibility and guest experience.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we start working on these upgrades, and we can't wait for you to see the finished product. Keep an eye on our socials for updates! 👀

Join us for some spooktacular events at the Ahhhhquarium this month!

The Seattle Aquarium honors Indigenous Peoples' Day. Since time immemorial, the Indigenous peoples of the Salish Sea have been the greatest stewards of this land, air and water. The Aquarium is on the homelands of the Coast Salish people, and Indigenous science and knowledge are essential to understanding our shared ocean and restoring its health. 🌊⛰️🌎

We are honored to be responsible guests on their traditional and contemporary territories. And we are committed to developing a strong foundation for long-lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships with Tribal Nations, urban Native peoples and, as our mission continues to grow, the Indigenous peoples of the Indo-Pacific and their local diaspora.

Ring, ring! Who's there? ☎️👀 It's Toddler Time, returning for more hands-on fun!

Tomorrow and Monday from 9:30am to noon, join us with your littles for crafts, songs, story time and more. Plus, as part of our ¡Vamos al Acuario! celebration, we'll follow a blue whale mom and her calf as they visit marine habitats across Latin America, from sandy beaches to mangrove forests to coral reefs. 🐋
