There's a reason Coe feels different.
It's not just the teachers (who, for the record, are AMAZING) it's everything around them. The specialists who spend time with your kids every week. The programs that don't get cut. The resources that show up in classrooms every single day.
Seattle Public Schools does what it can. But there are gaps and the Coe PTA fills them. Sometimes that means funding the remainder of a program. Sometimes it means the difference between your kid's librarian being here 3 days a week or 5.
This auction funds a $250,000 staffing grant that keeps tutors, reading interventionists, and specialists in this building serving every kid K–5. It also covers research-based reading, math and science programs, library books, PE equipment, art supplies, grade-level enrichment, food support for families who need it, and teacher funds that let our staff say yes when it matters.
When you bid, you win something great, yes, but you also buy time with the people and programs your kid deserves.
