The Everett Yacht Club Come for the boating. Stay for the People. Proud member of the Grand 14.

EYC: Serious about cruising, not (too) serious about ourselves — Everett Yacht Club combines a strong boating pedigree with some of the friendliest folks you’ll meet on the docks.

People who like boating are happier, more intelligent, and better looking, according to science.

(Ok I might have made that up, but it seems likely.)

IF YOUR BOAT COULD CHOOSE ONE DESTINATION EVERY SUMMER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Sucia? Friday Harbor? Poulsbo? La Conner? Desolation Sound?

Drop a photo too! 👇 Let's see where EYC members love to cruise!

EYC had an INCREDIBLE Memorial Day cruise to beautiful Anacortes last weekend - 31 boats - yes THIRTY ONE - and the weekend was full of great food thanks to a stellar cruise captain team, silly games like The Newlywed Game our Bridge was subjected to, and wonderful camaraderie. As usual the facilities were great!

Most importantly, we capped off the weekend with boat christenings, and a special Memorial Day Remembrance & wreath-laying service officiated by EYC member Captain Alfred Cain.

Attached are a few of the christening pics (thank you Pam.) Yours truly was busy and didn't capture pics (*sad face*) so If you have pics from the weekend PLEASE PUT THEM IN THE COMMENTS! 😃

The docks are getting busy, the weather is (might be!) starting to cooperate, and boating season has started.

This weekend, a fleet of Everett Yacht Club boats will be headed north for our Memorial Day Cruise to Anacortes. There’s something so cool about seeing friends cast off their lines and point the bow toward a long weekend on the water that makes it feel feel like summer is finally here in the Pacific Northwest.

Safe travels to everyone coming this weekend! We’re looking forward to good company, good food, conversations, and dock games!

If you see an EYC burgee flying in Anacortes this weekend, come say hello.

Fun!
