InterTribal Survival is the collaborative effort of several young Native organizers who have come together to support the Urban Native community of Seattle. Each of us have dedicated our professional careers and personal time to specific issues that have an impact on the Urban Native community. By coming together, we will strengthen our efforts and offer support to each other in serving the peopl
e. Some of the areas we will focus on supporting at a grassroots level are:
- Homelessness/Housing support
- Chemical Dependency - Elder Support
- Su***de Prevention - Two Spirit Support
- Youth Outreach/Native Education
- Recidivism & Youth Jail Prevention
- Environmental Activism - Decolonization
- Cultural Healing - Veteran Support
We will be planning events, fundraisers, protests, and many other actions to support our people affected by these issues. It's our community, and it's OUR Responsibility!
