We are the Genuine Gamma Chapter of ΓΑΩ at the University of Washington.

Founded on January 24th, 1997 by our 8 fierce founding mothers: Magdalena Saldana, Lorena Castillo-Ware, Rosa Rodriguez, Patricia Hoeg, Amalia Sandoval, Cassandra Lopez de Arriaga, Cynthia Ramirez, and Joann Hurley. We are the first Latina-founded sorority here on campus, and the first in the Pacific Northwest. We take pride in our year round community service. Gamma Alpha Omega is a service based

sisterhood that exists to:
-Increase the number of women with a college education and advanced degrees.
-Provide mentors for youth, women, and under-represented communities.
-Enhance the individual leader in each member.
-Provide a family of lifelong support for sisters who live their lives by the pillars of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity. Add us on Facebook
