It was another awesome golf event for the SVGA group yesterday. We had a great turn out and the weather was kind to us despite the gloomy forecast.
We have some amazing golfers who turned in some very respectable scores with the lowest of 77 on a par 71.

The after party was equally exciting with lots of fun and laughter back at the clubhouse. Thanks to everyone who participated to make this a fun filled event.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you everyone for an awesome turnout and for making the 2018 SVGA Spring Scramble Season Opener at Druids Glen a huge success!

A special shout out to our two special guests from OVGA, Min Matsumoto and Hai Nguyen, for driving all the way up from Oregon to join in on the fun! Sorry that your drive up from Oregon was so long, but your drives on the golf course were not : )))

It was truly a “SCRAMBLE” event. We were scrambling to get everything up and running, but once we did, everyone swung away and enjoyed a fun round of golf with such a great group of people! Mr Son Tran was scrambling around like a mad man to make sure that we all got the banh mi dac biet and the adult beverages. After a couple warm up “shots” from Mr Son, most of us were scrambling out of the roughs and the trees just to save PAR. We also had one of our best gatherings after the round in the clubhouse with lots of laughers and cheers! We hope that everyone will continue to come on in and join us after the round for a drink or two, and to meet other golfers while we announce the winners and give out some great prizes.

THE HIGHLIGHTS/WINNERS

For this event, The Pink Panther has retired, The Black Panther was busy fighting Thanos in the Infinity War, so THE YELLOW PANT-her was there to win the best (worst) dressed contest and took home the “CROWN” royal. Thanks Joe Nguyen for highlighting this event!
