0, we are taking action to infuse these values throughout our internal culture, systems, and practices. We have initiated deliberate steps to strengthen our organization by introducing the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Task Force. Spearheading our efforts to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) throughout ILEA and the live events industry, the DEI Task Force will review where ILEA stands when it comes to DEI practices, produce education on DEI in live events, provide opportunities to highlight certified minority-owned business, and provide resources and strategies to assist ILEA chapters in becoming more diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Our mission is to expand diversity in our organization by creating a culture of equity, embracing differences, and promoting diverse cultures. We will provide an internationally inclusive safe space for our membership and other event professionals regardless of age, gender, gender identity, ability, ethnicity, nationality, race, and/or sexual orientation.
