Friends of the B-G Trail just celebrated Green Seattle Day #2 on the Burke-Gilman Trail planting native wildflowers with 35 volunteers.
The rain "mostly" stopped while we were planting and then restarted after we left -- Thanks Mom Nature. The group put in about 1900 plants of all types. We are already looking forward to Spring to see what comes up.

Rain at last and all of our plants are perking up!
This last Sunday Friends of the Burke Gilman Trail hosted Boeing tocover a big piece of the Pollinator Patch with wood chips in preparation for Green Seattle Day.
GSD day is a great time to get your kids out planting (and getting a little dirty) it also shows them their parents doing community service, which is a great way to build our community!😀
