The Port of Everett was proud to partner once again with Sno-Isle TECH Skills Center and Core Plus Maritime, for the Sno-Isle Maritime Career Fair on March 4. The Port was among the 25 companies to participate this year for an opportunity to engage with 700+ high school juniors and seniors enrolled in skilled trade classes about the wide variety of job opportunities in the maritime industry.

As the only global gateway in Snohomish County and with 60% of jobs in the County tied to trade, the Port of Everett is focused on workforce development, from engaging with students and educators to facilitating outreach and education programs that illuminate maritime career pathways for our youth. In 2023 alone, our team connected with 6,500+ students with our “Your Port. Your Future.” booth at various skilled trade and career fairs.

Washington State Ferries hosted Core Plus Maritime students at their Eagle Harbor Maintenance Facilities yesterday! The kids and teachers had a blast😍 thanks Washington State Ferries!!!! A+ event, can’t wait for next year!
