💜🐾 Paws for Purple Hearts trains Service Dogs for Veterans living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Traumatic Brain Injury, and mobility challenges. Our dogs learn over 100 commands to assist Veterans struggling with their disabilities. Some commands they learn include turning lights on and off, opening and closing drawers, applying deep and light pressure therapy, and retrieving items such as credit cards and glasses.

💜🐾 These Service Dogs in training are truly life changing for the Veterans we serve. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely on donations, community partnerships, and fundraising to provide our programs at no cost to Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.

We are incredibly grateful to join the Missing in America Project folks for the important work they do. We appreciate attending and being able to honor those who have finally been found and put to rest. Thank you to Tahoma National Cemetery for hosting those who have sacrificed so much for our beautiful country.
