☀️Sunshine Action USA x UW Food Pantry, University of Washington: Packing & Distribution Event! 📦

We are excited to announce our upcoming Packing Event in collaboration with the University of Washington Food Pantry Organization! Join us in making a real impact by preparing and distributing essential food bags for students and community members in need.

📍 Location:
UW Food Pantry – Poplar Hall 210
1311 NE 41st St., Seattle, WA, 98105

🗓️ Date: June 6th
🕥 Packing: 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM
🕧 Distribution: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM

Join Us to Fight Hunger and Support the Vulnerable Across the U.S.
Do you want to help feed the hungry and bring warmth to those abandoned and struggling in the United States?
Sunshine Action USA is a nonprofit charity dedicated to alleviating poverty and homelessness. Legally established in 2020 during the height of the pandemic, our mission began with a desire to help families facing food insecurity. We mobilized students and volunteers to pack Sunshine Food Bags and deliver them to those in need.
🌟 Our Food Bag Program is the heart of our organization. Each bag includes nutritious food, sauces, toiletries, and essential items — all distributed with the support of our partner charities and universities.
So far, we’ve proudly collaborated with 7 universities and charitable organizations across the U.S. — and we’re looking to grow!
We’re currently seeking university partners to:
1. Organize packing and distribution events

2. Help us reach more communities and students in need

On April 14th, 2025, we teamed up with students from Columbia University for a special community outreach event in Manhattan! Together, we packed and donated 45 food bags, along with boxes of diapers and baby wipes, to support migrant families in need.

All donations were delivered to St. Peter's Church!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who lent a hand and made this day possible. Small acts of kindness make a big difference when we come together.

On April 4th, 2025, in collaboration with students from the University of Pennsylvania and our incredible Sunshine Ambassador Freddy Liu, we successfully packed and donated 100 food bags at Christ in the City to support the homeless community.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed their time, effort, and heart to make this meaningful event possible! Together, we continue to spread love and hope to those in need.
