Hedge fund mega-millionaire Brian Heywood plans to submit signatures for two harmful anti-LGBTQ+ initiatives in Washington state. If passed, IL 26-001 and IL 26-638 could increase abuse and safety risks for some of our state’s most vulnerable students, including LGBTQ+ students, and students seeking mental health support at school.

To combat these harmful efforts, Washington Families for Freedom -endorsed by many child advocacy, safety, education, and health providers- is fighting against these harmful 2026 ballot initiatives and educating Washingtonians of their true impact.

Join Washington Families for Freedom and protect youth in our state by declining to sign these initiatives!
