King County Early Learning Coalition

King County Early Learning Coalition Educate, Collaborate, and Advocate for Early Learning We prioritize the voices and needs of Black, Indigenous, and other children and families of color.

The King County Early Learning Coalition (KCELC) is made up of people with diverse experiences, perspectives, and backgrounds who work for or with young children, specifically including informal and formal childcare providers and owners, as well as those living or working in rural and unincorporated areas of King County. Through advocacy, collaboration, and system-building, we advance changes in t

he early learning system to center positive relationships and outcomes for our youngest learners. With the support of our host agency, BrightSpark, and partner, Washington Communities for Children (WCFC), we center advocacy & policy, family voices, child care provider voices, health provider voices, and resource navigation & access all through the lens of equity and anti-racism.
