Did you attend WTIA AI Week in Seattle from October 27th–31st?
Last month, October 20–26, the Seattle area celebrated WTIA AI Week with a series of events focused on innovation and community connection. Among these, the Future Arts Session stood out for its meaningful impact on the intersection of art, technology, and equity.
A.L.A. World Foundation was proud to participate in the Future Art: Future Sparks Salon and Spotlight the event impact, held at the newly built Washington 1000 Building off Olive Way in Seattle on October 30th. This event provided valuable insights into working beyond traditional disciplines, fostering diverse talent, and creating new pathways at the intersection of art and tech. Attendees connected with peers, cross-pollinated ideas, and engaged in sessions and opportunities that advanced collaboration.
The event highlighted the power of collaborative leadership, peer-to-peer connections, individual reflection, and the contributions of volunteers—especially during the “Dinner with Robots” interactive fundraiser and showcase (Future Arts Live! Ep.5).
We are especially grateful to Yuliya Bruk, Founder of Future Arts, whose nonprofit work has been instrumental in expanding equitable access and building pathways for art and tech in our region.
Yuliya’s leadership is creating unconventional bridges between individual talent, industry innovation, all abilities (including disability and inclusion), and the advancement of sustainability and equity for the sector’s future.
