Come volunteer on our Warm Line and offer support, connection and understanding to parents.

Our Warm Line is staffed by parents who get the struggle, having been through their own perinatal mental health challenges. Warm Line Peers provide emotional support and create a space for parents to be truly heard. The power of peer support is simple but impactful: talking to another parent who has been through it reduces the isolation and stigma that many new parents feel.

Among the devastation in Venezuela: a mother and her 18-day-old baby were rescued alive after being trapped beneath the rubble for more than 32 hours.
This powerful story is a reminder of a mother's incredible strength, and of the vital role breastfeeding can play during emergencies. When clean water, electricity, and supplies are disrupted, breastfeeding provides safe nutrition, hydration, comfort, and protection for infants when they need it most.

As we continue to keep the people of Venezuela in our thoughts, may this story also inspire us to support policies, education, and emergency preparedness efforts that protect and empower breastfeeding families before disasters strike.
