WHAT’S ALL THIS ABOUT SALTY LICORICE (AND ICE CREAM TOO)?

Finland is famous for Salmiakki (Salty Licorice), a confectionary and contradictory treat that is salty, chewy and definitely habit forming! Salmiakki comes in different ranges of salt (from mild to extra salty) and can be eaten as soft chewy pieces or hard candies. And just when you think you couldn’t try anything more different, it’s also available as ice cream.
