A UW Seattle student, Bangally Fatty, has been detained and is facing deportation. The UW Center for Human Rights has drafted a petition in support of his case.
The petition will be submitted with his request for bond next week, and the number of signatures matters. A strong response from our community may sway the judge in Bangally's favor, as we've seen in other immigration cases.
