Now THIS is Black business creativity. 🖤✂️
A whole barbershop… ON WHEELS. 😂
The chair, the setup, the tools — everything! Seeing this again is such a throwback and a reminder of how Black entrepreneurs have always found creative ways to bring the business where the people are.
Before mobile businesses were trendy, somebody was already outside making it work.
This one definitely deserves a moment of appreciation.
Black-owned. Black ingenuity. Black history.

One of Tacoma’s most recognizable landmarks has a story worth knowing.
Opened in 1913, the Murray Morgan Bridge connected downtown Tacoma to the waterfront and played a role in the growth of our port and industrial economy. Nearly a century later, it was closed, threatened with demolition, and ultimately restored—reopening in 2013, exactly 100 years after it first opened.
Today, it stands as a reminder of Tacoma’s history, resilience, and ability to build for the future.
For Tacoma. By Tacoma.
