2026 has been a particularly difficult year for our little community. In March, we unexpectedly lost a pillar of SPARKS itself. Judy’s contributions to SPARKS, our park, our community, our county and to anyone she encountered reflected her generous spirit and unwavering dedication to help in any way that she could. Her kindness has left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

As we continue to mourn Judy’s passing, our community has once again been touched by tragedy.

Brent was a devoted husband, father, Chief, outdoorsman and friend to so very many. He was the kind of person every community hopes to have - someone always willing to help, always ready with a joke and always there when someone needed him. Brent’s impact on the community and all who knew him will not soon be forgotten.

Our hearts are with Shannon, their children, and to all who loved both Brent and Judy as we grieve alongside them during this incredibly difficult time.

🚨 REMINDER 🚨

Cookies with Santa is taking place in Seaton THIS WEEKEND! If you are willing, we need any and all baked good donations we can get! All proceeds go right back into the community, supporting our beautiful park and the events we’re able to host for children and their families. Please, reach out to myself or another SPARKS member and let us know! Donation drop offs 3:15 at the Seaton fire station this Saturday, the 6th! Help us to continue to spread holiday cheer for years to come! 🎄
