🎓✨ Congratulations to the 2026 Seaside Rotary Scholarship Recipients! ✨🎓
Today we celebrate an exceptional group of students whose hard work, perseverance, leadership, and commitment to their futures have earned them a Seaside Rotary Scholarship.
Every scholarship awarded represents years of dedication in the classroom, involvement in school and community activities, personal growth, and the courage to pursue ambitious goals. We are inspired by these students and excited to see the impact they will make in the years ahead.
This year marks a milestone for our club. Thanks to the incredible support of our members, donors, sponsors, and community partners, Seaside Rotary is proud to award $91,000 in educational funding and increase the number of scholarship recipients from 14 students in 2025 to 22 students in 2026.
Our scholarship program includes one-year, two-year, and four-year renewable awards, each designed to support students pursuing a variety of educational pathways and career aspirations. More importantly, these scholarships represent our community's belief in the potential of local students and our commitment to helping them succeed.
As Rotarians, there are few things more rewarding than investing in the next generation. Watching these students pursue their dreams reminds us why we dedicate so much time and effort to fundraising throughout the year.
Please join us in congratulating this outstanding group of scholarship recipients. We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to seeing all that you accomplish.
If you'd like to help us continue creating opportunities for local students, we invite you to support Seaside Rotary through membership, sponsorship, volunteering, or participation in our fundraising events. Together, we can continue making a lasting difference in the lives of young people throughout our community.
💙💛 Congratulations, Class of 2026! Your future is bright, and we're honored to be part of your journey.

What an honor it was for the Rotary Club of Seaside to support our Rotary President and the Providence Seaside Hospital at their annual Festival of trees. Great Rotarian turnout!
A very “Harry” Christmas.

Thank you Leah for all your Service Above Self.

📣 Rotary Recognition – Honoring Service Above Self 📣

At this year’s Club Installation Banquet, we also had the distinct honor of recognizing William Montero with the Past District Governor Denny J. Purkey Distinguished Service Award — a prestigious award that highlights exceptional humanitarian service and personal volunteerism.

Bill, a past president of our club, was recognized for his extraordinary efforts in establishing Esperanza Village in Seaside. By donating land and working in close partnership with the City and local nonprofits, Bill helped create a tiny house community that offers stable housing and a path forward for individuals experiencing homelessness.
His commitment didn’t stop there. Bill also led a Rotary initiative to purchase a mobile shower cart for the unhoused — a project now in active use through Clatsop Community Assistance, offering dignity and basic hygiene to those in need across Clatsop County.

Please join us in congratulating Bill and thanking him for his deep and lasting impact on our community. 💙
